The story behind Leggott Trailers Inc starts in the early 1900s. Arthur Leggott traded livestock from Dawson to Waco and used the money he earned to buy many parcels of land.

He acquired 13 acres of land near his family home in December 1924 and built the first barn of Leggott Livestock Auction. Almost 80 years later, carrying on the tradition of the family business, we're here for all your trailer needs.

After Arthur 'Red' Leggott Jr. returned from World War II in the mid-40s, he worked at his father's auction barn. When he needed a set of stock racks for cattle transport, he contacted Bill Hale of Sherman, TX.

Red learned that if he bought 3 sets, he could become a dealer. Before long, Leggott Trailers Inc was booming. Tom Leggott, our current owner, began working for his father in 1984.

He helped to expand the shop and grow the business to over double its size. Today, Leggott Trailers Inc has been serving Central Texas for seventy years!
